Down the Hill

When you are at camp, everyone refers to life when you go back 'down the hill'. The energy and excitement at Hume Lake Camp is something to behold. It was awesome and powerful and God honoring. But life truly is not lived up there for most people. I pray that kids whose lives where changed, will have the strength to continue here when their old life beckons. Jeff and I had a blast. We missed our kids like crazy, but it was so fun. We kayaked, creek walked, hiked and lake swam. Plus hanging out with our 40 high school kids we brought with us. It was a great time to get to know them better, and they are precious to me.

You guys are awesome for taking time out and away from your little ones to minister to youth. That week at Hume is so draining ... and uplifting all at the same time. Glad you guys got to do some fun things too : )

You look so young in this pic! Like when you dated! Hume must have been the "fountain of youth" for you two!
