Hume Lake
I leave tomorrow morning for my first experience at Hume Lake. I am excited... but not looking forward to being totally worn out. And I will miss the kids... But I know God will change me, and change these high schoolers. What an awesome opportunity to focus on Him and serve these kids. So... pray for me this week, if you make it to my blog. Pray that I will be ready to serve the girls in my cabin and that I would point them to Him whenever possible. Hopefully I will give you an update in one week!

YEAH!!!! You will have so much fun! I'm jealous! Just kidding! Is Jeff watching the kids or also going? I'll pray for you. Just remember to try to get lots of sleep, esp. in the first few days. Take naps during free time, too. Hopefully you'll read this before leaving. Have a blast!!!

We have been praying for you all week and are anxious to hear how things went. And we hope that this past week was life changing for many of the kids who went. I did look up Hume Lake and found that it is in the Sequoia National Forest. I always like to know where things are (where you are) on the map. We received "Le Djeli Bean" this week. Great letter!
