Just where is my stomach???

OK... you get to that point in your pregnancy when you wonder, what is going on in there? Where are my intestines exactly, because things just don't feel right. And why in the world do I pee every time I cough? (Which has been way too often lately!) It is just crazy what our bodies go through, so I found this image to share with you all. This is where it all goes!!!

Tag... I'm it!!!

This almost makes me miss middle school and all the fun and games of tag after Church. OK... so the things I love and hate, here goes...

I LOVE:
Rain... really I do, even after a week strait and it feels like our house is going to blow away. There is something about it that is so refreshing and magical.

Watching Harley get from place to place. She never just walks, but she picks up her feet and does the cutest little run/jog thing.

Listening to Drew come up with a new invention. He is so imaginative.

Watching Joe's quick little mind come up with responses to peoples questions. He just things differently than anyone I know.

Clean fresh sheets.

The smell of a newborn baby. (Well maybe a week old.)

Fresh flowers in a clean house!

Getting packages.

The comfort of love and family.

My husband who I miss dearly as I write this...

OK... I HATE:

Stepping on legos or match box cars in the dark!

Dishonesty...

Mean people

People that hurt my kids.

You were right Christine, the Hate list was pretty hard. I guess that is good.

Under the Weather

What does that phrase really mean? Are we ever Over the Weather? I guess we are when we are sick of it. And right now I am sick of being sick. I came down with a cold/cough at the beginning of the week. I do not get sick real often. But then one has really zapped me. I don't even have the energy to finish anything I start, I can't breath when I lay down, and my throat feels like it is on fire when I cough. (I actually dreamed last night that I choked on my own Flem and died.) So on top of that Jeff is gone for ten days. Nothing like being 33 weeks pregnant, sick and without your husband to make you fully appreciate him! (Although I really appreciate his parents right now who are pulling me through this, despite the fact at his grandma is in the hospital again!!!)

I am hopeful that I will be well enough to go to MOPS tomorrow. I could really use the encouragement of fellow moms. So, just in case you were wondering why I never write on this blog anymore, I will try and get Over the Weather and get back to it!!!

Here is a link to our missions video we finished recently.

Baby Frazee

I am proud to announce that my nephew was born today to Jim and Becca Frazee. His name is Caleb Benjamin Frazee and he was 8 pounds. What a birthday... New Years Eve. We are so thrilled for them. I will try and upload the photo I got on my camera.

Baby number Four

This is the child we affectionately call Petite. I have sworn it is not true, but number four does get forgotten all too often. Even by his parents. And as much as I deny it, my thoughts are busy with the three running around on this side of my womb. Jeff has told me this is true, but as a fair mom, I don't want to be unfair to this unborn child of mine. Well we have now done two things this pregnancy that we never did with the other three. The 3D Ultrasound. And a professional pregnancy photo. This just happened to coincide with a family Christmas photo. But nevertheless, I am happy for baby number to four to have something special.

Birthday Girl

Well our little Harley turned two. This is amazing to me because I always mark her age as how long we have been gone from Ojai, and I can't believe it has been two years. Well here are a few photos from her party.

Our "Petite"

I don't know how much I have blogged about my experience with my health care this pregnancy. Basically I am thankful for free insurance, so I will not bash the system. However, I have been disappointed on more than one occasion with various proceedings and lack of attention. The most difficult for me was having my ultrasound on Tuesday this week. Clearly the technician was not experienced with the equipment and did a terrible job. I did not get any clear view of the baby and nothing was explained to us other than the baby looked fine. I know that should be enough. But I felt like my only opportunity to 'see' the baby before he/she was born was wasted. So I was bummed.

Tuesday is our busy day and after kids club and dinner, before we went on to youth group, I got a call from MaryLou. She had set up an appointment for us Wednesday night at a 3D ultrasound place. I was so overwhelmed by her sensitivity to my desire that I could barely speak.

Last night we went to the place. All seven of us. Jeff's parents and our kids. We saw the baby move and hide his/her face and stick his foot in his mouth and we even saw a smile. Gas or not I was thrilled. :) It was delightful to see this little baby... so here are a couple photos.

Our Travels

We are back in San Jose after our travels to New York, Pennsylvania and Michigan. It was a great whirlwind trip to see family and friends. Our kids did really well on the airplane and in all the different sleeping situations. Once we got back here though they were very jet lagged and waking up at 5am. After four early mornings they are finally starting to sleep in.

Harley had an asthma attack while we were in Michigan and we ended up in the ER at 3am. She did recovered very well after receiving some breathing treatments but we are now aware that this is something we need to be prepared for at all times. It is quite scary to see your little girl unable to breath properly. Here she is giving Uncle Nathan a treatment.

All three of our kids really enjoyed their cousin Abby and all their Aunts, Uncles and Grandparents. It was so good to spend time with family.

Injury and Sickness

So Joe and Harley and Drew have all had colds and coughs this week. Joe's got real bad with fever and he just sounds miserable. So in the few moments he was feeling OK on Monday, he twirled around and hit his eye on a bookcase and cut it just under the eye. Poor little guy. He had his first sick day from school today. He has bounced back and besides a horse throat, he is doing much better.

On a much sadder note. Granny, who has had her hip go out three times this year, just had it got out a fourth today. This was suppose to be the magic hip, the great solution, and the final surgery. However, the plan is for her to have another hip replacement next Monday. Please pray for her. This has been an emotionally difficult time and I just can't imagine the discouragement from having to go through this again.

Too Long...

Well I have officially waited too long to blog. Now I can't get started. So this will be a catch up blog. I had a Dr. Check up today. I am 19 weeks Pregnant and the baby sounded great! So all is well in that department.

It is missions month at our home Church. Blossom Valley Bible Church. It has been great hearing the missionaries talk and seeing all 50 flags up in our sanctuary that represent all the Churches' missionaries. Included the flag of Mali. Our Church has been very supportive in helping send us to Mali.

We are preparing to leave in two weeks for a trip back east to visit family. It will be a great but way too fast of a trip.

Here are two random photos just cause I can't blog without one. Joe and Harley are burying Drew in the truck. And Joe and Harley tried to bury themselves in stuffed animals in this one.
